How to Use the DeanGear Store

DeanGear items are separated into two categories – the On-location store and the On-demand clothing store.

On-Location Store

There is a large number of pre-logoed items available for employees to order that are housed at Dean Purchsing. These items are ordered through the web store and will be shipped to the purchaser through inter-office mail – no additional shipping charges will apply. All items housed in the on-location store have the Dean logo. Normal turnaround time on these items is 2-7 working days.

On-Demand Clothing Store

There is a large number of apparel items available that can be customized with the Dean logo you select - either Dean, Dean Clinic, Dean Health Plan, Dean Foundation or Davis Duehr Dean. These items are decorated after you order and are shipped to you at your home address. Shipping charges will apply for these items. Normal turnaround time on these items is 7-10 working days plus shipping.

Each store requires you to register and login separately and has a separate shopping cart, thus it is necessary to go through the check out process at each store separately.

Searching the Product Catalog

At the top of each page, there is a search box that can be used to search for products by name, description or product number. The search function only searches the items in the store you are currently viewing. If you would like to search the entire catalog of Dean branded items, you must enter your search in each store.

Registration & Login Process

The registration process is quick and easy. Simply click on the “register” tab along the top bar. To register, users need to supply first and last name and email address and create a password.

NOTE: You must create your account on both the On-Location and On-Demand stores. You may use the same email address and password when setting up your accounts.

Logging In

To log in, simply provide the email address and password you supplied during the registration process (password is case sensitive).

My Account

By logging in to your account, you are able to change log-in passwords, view contact and billing information, past purchase history, wish lists and more.

Account Dashboard

Shows important account information at a glance including contact information, default shipping and billing addresses and newsletter subscription status.

My Invitations

Help us spread the word about the new DeanGear store. By clicking on My Invitations and entering your friends’ email addresses, they will receive an invitation to create their own accounts.

Gift Certificates & Store Credit

If you receive a gift certificate, you can register it by clicking on the Store Credit section under My Account. Once it’s registered the recipient will no longer have to keep track of it nor have to enter the information again. Once logged in, the user will be able to track the amount used against the certificate and check the remaining balance under the Store Credit tab.

Ordering

Online Orders

You can order 24 hours a day on our website. We reserve the right to correct pricing and description errors.

Phone Orders

If you would rather place your order by phone, please call our toll-free line (888) 250-9273.Our business hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM CST.

Customer/Bulk Orders

If you have an event coming up and need a bulk order or are looking for an item that is not on the web store, please complete the business order form on the Dean Intranet. There is additional information at that link about the order process.

Order Status

You will receive an email confirming your order and a second one when the order has shipped. If the item is out of stock you will be contacted by customer service with a potential in stock date. Sales Tax

All orders will be charged applicable sales tax according to the destination shipping address on your order. Sales tax charges currently apply to WI, IL and TN.

Returns & Exchanges

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact customer service within 15 days via the form under the Customer Service tab, at dean-service@cpipromo.com or (888) 250-9273. Once we start the return process, the item will have to be physically returned to the appropriate location within 30 days of purchase. If that item was shipped to you via inter-office mail, you will need to ship it back to Dean Purchasing. If that item is an apparel item shipped to your home via UPS, you will be given return instructions from the Dean Customer Service representative at CPI. The purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.

Privacy & Security

CPI respects the privacy of all visitors to its website. For this reason, personal information provided by you on our website is never given or sold to any other parties. While visiting our website, we may ask you to register and/or provide information that personally identifies you ("personal information") for purposes of interacting with our site, including:

Placing an order
Requesting notification (opt-in) for our eNewsletter
Emailing a page of the Site to a Friend

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information voluntarily given to us for will be used only to fulfill the purpose of the original transaction. You will not be added to our mailing lists unless you specifically request to be added. You will not receive emails from us unless we are responding to your email or request. We may, however, use collected data to customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual visitor.

HOW WE USE YOUR FRIENDS' EMAIL ADDRESSES
When you email a page to a friend, CPI will not use your friend's email address or any information you enter here for promotional purposes or disclose it to a third party. We will only use the email addresses to fulfill your request.

CHANGES TO THIS ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to change the terms of this privacy policy at any time but will not do so without posting the revised policy on this website. We encourage you to review this privacy policy whenever you visit our website to make sure you understand how we use the information we collect.

Security

CPI secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
